Overview
WordDelve is a word-guessing roguelike game developed by AppDestroy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep things simple: we only collect what we need to run the game, and we never sell your personal information.
Information We Collect
- Account information. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we store a basic account identifier and display name provided by that sign-in provider. You can also play anonymously.
- Game data. Your game progress, scores, streaks, and modifier history, stored so your progress syncs across devices.
- Usage analytics. Anonymous, aggregated information about how the game is played (such as rounds completed and features used) to help us improve the game.
How We Use Your Information
- To save and sync your game progress across your devices.
- To improve gameplay, balance, and overall app quality.
- To respond to support requests you send us.
We do not use your information to serve ads, and we do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
Third-Party Services
WordDelve uses Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, and Analytics) to power sign-in, progress sync, and usage analytics. Google processes data in accordance with its own privacy policy, available at policies.google.com/privacy.
Data Retention & Deletion
Your game data is stored for as long as you use the game. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing appdestroy@gmail.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
Children's Privacy
WordDelve is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
